Decoration tips for your TexMex Party
Materials
Red and green – the colours of Mexico. Not only does the Mexican flag shine in these colours, but also the chilli peppers – so typical of Mexican cuisine – are bright red and green. Keep this in mind when planning your decorations. Beautiful fabric, natural decorating items, cacti, and a Sombrero can transform your apartment into a typical Mexican Casa.
The following decorating tips prove that napkins are more than just a hygienic product and tasteful place settings.

Tableware packets in chilli pepper ring
(Solid green napkins)
Fold the right and left corners of the napkins to the back to create an open pocket. For the napkin ring, thread chilli peppers together using a thin piece of wire or a needle and thread, form a ring around the napkin and tie ends together in the back. Place the packets decoratively on the plates.

Fiesta Mexicana
(Solid red napkin or napkin with chilli motif)
With the design opened out at the bottom, place the napkin on the tape and fold the bottom end onto the upper end to form a triangle. Roll the triangle up from the bottom. Fold the napkin in the middle and place in a deep glass filled with corn kernels.

Cancun Columns
(Napkin with chilli motif)
With the design opened out at the bottom, place the napkin on the tape and fold the bottom end onto the upper end to form a triangle. Fold the bottom edge up to form a cuff about 2 to 3 cm wide. Turn the napkin over and roll it up all around over three fingers. Insert the end into the fold to secure the napkin.
