1. Sunrise

Open the napkin and place it straight in front of you. Now make at least four equal folds lengthways in the napkin and fold the ends a quarter towards the centre. Turn the napkin around and fold both ends towards the centre. Then fan out the ends, so that they are lifted towards the centre. Tip: the napkin can be folded up to eight times, depending on its size. The more folds there are, the more elaborate and decorative the sunrise.

2. Palm leaf

Fold an open napkin diagonally into a triangle. Place the napkin with the long side in front of you and fold. Bring both ends together and twist into a point.

3. Wine sash

Fold an open napkin diagonally into a triangle. Place it with the long side in front of you and fold the points underneath. Fold the napkin in the centre again and turn around. Now place the napkin around the bottleneck, unfold the ends and insert into each other.

4. Mediterranean cutlery packs

Unfold the napkin once (into an oblong) and then roll the cutlery up to half way in, along with a sprig of rosemary.
